The short answer
Pick Ludex if you scan cards mainly to list them on eBay; it fills the listing in for you. Pick Midpoint if you want to know whether a card is worth grading, or if you collect One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! or Lorcana, which are not in Ludex’s supported list.
Choose Ludex if
- You list many cards on eBay and want the listing filled in from the scan
- You need parallel detection on modern sports cards
- You only collect one category (Ludex Lite is $4.99/month)
Choose Midpoint if
- You want centering measured and a grade estimate
- You collect One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana or other TCGs
- You want unlimited saved cards without a 60-card cap

Switching to Midpoint
Ludex exports CSV from its web collection manager on Standard or Pro. Midpoint has no CSV import yet. The quickest way to move a collection is Bulk → Multiple Cards: photograph each binder page (or a scanner bed of cards) and Midpoint finds every card, identifies it and adds it to your portfolio with its price.
