Midpoint is a trading card app for iPhone, Android and the web. What Midpoint does
AI grading
Photograph the front and back of a card and Midpoint returns an AI grade report: a grade for corners, edges, surface and centering, close-ups of every corner and edge with each defect called out, and grade estimates on the PSA, BGS, CGC and TAG scales. It tells you what a grader is likely to see before you send a card in.
Centering measurement
Our own machine-learning models find the card edges and the inner print frame, straighten the photo, and measure each border in millimeters and as a left/right and top/bottom ratio. Drag any edge to fine-tune, or check a card in seconds with the online centering calculator.
Card prices
Live market values for 1,540,000+ cards, from real sold listings and refreshed daily: raw prices by condition, graded prices by company and grade, price history charts, set checklists and player pages. Scan a card to identify it, or search by name, set or number.
Should I grade it?
Midpoint compares the raw price with the graded prices to show the grading premium, your net after fees and the gem rate you need to break even, then gives a plain verdict. It also ranks the cards in each game and set where grading pays most.
Portfolio, alerts and watchlist
Save cards to your collection, organize them into binders, record what you paid and watch the total value move. Price alerts and a watchlist send a push notification when a card you own or want moves, plus a weekly recap of your collection.
Bulk grading and binder pages
Grade or measure a whole stack at once, or photograph an entire binder page: Midpoint finds every card on the page, crops each one and grades them in a single batch.
Grade Certificates
Turn any AI-graded card into a Grade Certificate: a shareable image, a PDF and a public page with a QR code anyone can scan to verify it.
Ask, the card assistant
Chat with an assistant that answers market questions from Midpoint’s own price data: what a card is worth, whether it is worth grading, what is moving this month. It can also answer questions about your own saved cards and watchlist.
Community
Post a card and ask collectors what they think: grading calls, value checks, pickups and collections.

How it works
Measurement runs on our own models. Card and print-frame detection, straightening and the centering ratios come from machine-learning models we train ourselves, not from a generic image service.
Prices come from real sales. Market values are built from sold listings and refreshed every day.
A Midpoint grade is an estimate. It shows what a grader is likely to see, so you can decide what is worth sending in. Only a grading company can issue an official grade.
