Dragon Ball Super and Fusion World — is grading worth it, and are the tolerances the same?

Same treatment, smaller market, so the math is stricter.

All four major graders slab Dragon Ball Super and Fusion World cards, and they use the same published centering table they use for everything else: PSA 10 at 55/45 or better front and 75/25 back, and so on down the scale. Bandai's print quality on this game has the same tendencies as its other titles: cutting drift, factory print lines and foil scratches on the SCR and SPR parallels, so measure and tilt-test before assuming a pack-fresh card is a 10.

Whether it is worth it comes down to the value ladder for the specific card. Because the buyer pool is smaller than Pokémon's, the graded premium on most Dragon Ball cards is thinner, and the fee is the same, so only the top secret rares and sought-after alt arts tend to have a raw-to-10 gap that covers the cost. For cards you are attached to, grade for the slab and accept that; for anything you might sell, look at what graded copies of that exact card have actually sold for before submitting.

Next step: look up your two secret rares' raw and graded sold prices, and only submit the one where a 9 still beats raw plus fee.
